Our Declaration of Faith

We believe the Bible is the inspired, written Word of God, the standard for faith and practice.

The Bible

We believe the whole Bible is the inspired, written Word of God and serves as the authority for salvation and Christian living.

One God

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified, buried, raised, ascended, and interceding for us today.

Salvation

We believe all have sinned and need repentance for forgiveness. Justification, regeneration, and new birth come through faith in Jesus’ blood. Sanctification follows new birth through faith, the Word, and the Holy Ghost.

Holiness

We believe holiness is God’s standard of living.

Baptism & Holy Ghost

We believe baptism with the Holy Ghost comes after cleansing of the heart. Speaking in tongues is the initial evidence of Holy Ghost baptism. Water baptism is by immersion for all who repent, in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Divine Healing & Ordinances

We believe divine healing is provided in the atonement. The Lord’s Supper and washing of the saints’ feet are observed.

The Second Coming

We believe in the premillennial second coming of Jesus. First, there will be the resurrection of the righteous dead and rapture of living saints. Second, Christ will reign on earth for a thousand years.

Bodily Resurrection

We believe in the bodily resurrection: eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked.

Our Denomination

We are part of the Church of God, a global movement committed to proclaiming Christ and making disciples through the power of the Spirit.

Our Mission

We are a Christ-centered church; driven to make Jesus known to our community and focused on building relationships with one another.
